Oh boy. Well. It's been a while since I've been here, huh? Like over 3 years… Uhm… I'm sorry for disappearing. Abruptly. Life has been more than hectic, as I'm sure a lot of you know. And I think I owe a lot of you an explanation for some of it. As some of you know, I was in a relationship with a fellow member on this site, which we ended up breaking up, which was for the best. We tried to be friends, but unfortunately it was just still too toxic, and I felt I needed to part ways in order to help pull myself out of a dark place. Thankfully I had a group of really good friends who helped me along the way, especially when trying to unravel things from my ex that I didn't even realize were there. Things I am still working through now. Unfortunately during that time, dA did not feel like much of a safe place for me. I can't even say it didn't feel like a safe place, but being on here made my anxiety so much worse simply because it was a shared platform between my ex and myself.
