So I had a dream last night about my character Jeff. At one time, he had been a thief in Cristian's castle, and after getting a second chance, he became one of the guards. His back story was bleak and by no means interesting, yet I had wanted to work with him. However, he got pushed aside for months...

Until I had that dream.

In my dream, Jeff returns home to check on his wife and child, as well as to tell her that he has one mission left before getting some time off from work. His wife isn't happy about it, but it's life. As he goes to get his shoes on to leave and head off with his friends for the mission, one of the guys from the group he's going after comes in the back and shoots him in the shoulder, the specific bullet used having been designed to causing frequent moments of paralyzing pain. Jeff can't seem to catch his breath or move due to it, and fears that his wife, whom had been talking to him in the kitchen, will be shot as well. But instead, the man simply gives her a look before leaving. Baffled, Jeff tries to ask questions as his wife drags him to the car to take him to the hospital. Only, the hospital is in the opposite direction. Jeff realizes that she's trying to lead his best friends- and possibly himself- to the location of the mission, and that she had been the one who told the man where Jeff would be to have him shot. He figures she wants his friends gone due to the fact that they're what keeps him at his current job, and with them out of the way, he'll finally be able to spend quality time with his family. Fearing the worst for his friends, and possibly himself, Jeff uses one of the brief moments where the pain ebbs away enough for him to move to open the car door, and throw himself out...

And that's pretty much where the dream end.

It was epic, and I sure as hell look forward to working with it.

As for the picture itself, this is when Jeff is first shot before the pain really sets in. And I sort of like the shading on this.. I had find messing around with it xD

Expect more of Jeff.
